Maine

Maine- The Pine Tree State

Stay in the middle of Maine and you will explore a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and fishing. If you are tired of your office, your own four walls and bad air. Maine will make the difference, will fill you with energy and join you in the world of nature, wildlife and health.

Maine:
Maine is located in the northeastern United States surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, New Hampshire and Canada. The state is inhabited by 1,5 Million people, most of whom live in the capital, Augusta, or the largest City, Portland. Due to the fact that 90% of the state is covered by forest, it has the obvious nickname, the Pine Tree state.

Economy:
For the simple reason that Maine is bordered by the Atlantic and accommodates a lot of waters, it uses it to provide electricity. Moreover, it is known for commercial fishing such as Lobsters.

Landscape:
The landscape is characterized by rugged coastlines, beaches, fishing villages, offshore islands and the typical lighthouses. In addition to that it is famous for outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating and skiing.

Acadia National Park:
This special national park is a must see if you are visiting Maine. Besides exploring the beautiful Flora& Fauna with almost extinct species, such as wolves, you can have the best time of your life while camping in this park. However, you are not alone there because 2 Million people each year come to see the amazing wildlife of Maine.
