Maine:

Due to the fact that 90% of the state is covered by forest, it has the obvious nickname, the Pine Tree state.

For the simple reason that Maine is bordered by the Atlantic and accommodates a lot of waters, it uses it to provide electricity. Moreover, it is known for commercial fishing such as Lobsters.

Landscape:

The landscape is characterized by rugged coastlines, beaches, fishing villages, offshore islands and the typical lighthouses. In addition to that it is famous for outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating and skiing.

Acadia National Park:

This special national park is a must see if you are visiting Maine. Besides exploring the beautiful Flora& Fauna with almost extinct species, such as wolves, you can have the best time of your life while camping in this park.
